Winter Activities in Harrison Hot Springs

The perfect accommodations 35 minutes from Sasquatch Mountain Resort

Despite what most might think, Harrison offers a variety of winter activities. Sasquatch Mountain resort, formerly known as Hemlock Valley is a great family mountain that offers alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tubing and more. Bonus: it’s only 35 minutes away from Harrison Hot Springs, BC and you can skip the long line ups that are frequent while visiting the mountains in Whistler.
The Village of Harrison Hot Springs has amazing hikes and trails. Looking for a guided hike, Harrison Eco Tours offers a variety of activities to suit every taste and ability. Drop by the Tourism Harrison Office for more information on the local hikes and trails surrounding the lake.

If you are a foodie, you can always head over to the Farm House Natural Cheese – open from February – December. Try an assortment of their cheeses and maybe grab a bottle
of wine on your way back to the lodge to enjoy while watching the lake view sunset. The Farm house is part of our local Circle Farm Tour. This tour is a great way to get in touch with local food. It offers a rich mix of wonderful things to see, do, small and taste. For more info Circle Farm Tours.

You can also go for a stroll around the village and have dinner at one of the local restaurants. Whatever you decide, Harrison is a perfect destination for a quick and easy getaway!
